I did it through faxing the paper request over and waited until 10days. 11th day, I got 4 envelops each for the year requested.

I have a question. My husband told me that when he called the TAX TRANSCRIPT ( Call the IRS to get it FREE! 1 (800) 829-1040 ) He asked about a copy of Tax Transcript. The lady is snotty and she told my husband that he cannot get the 2008 until June.. IS THIS TRUE?

Not true. I got my 2008 one last week. I ordered 2 in fact. Use the automated system.

Yes, my packet got to NVC on Monday 03/30 and while they could see they got something from me they kept telling me it's not entered in the NVC system yet... at least not until Thursday 04/02 so it takes a few days for the mail to be delivered to the reps who then review our paperwork. Hoping my case wraps up really quickly and wish u all good luck as well

Does the applicant for the DS-230 write his name in pencil and DOB on the back of his photos?

I wrote also wrote NVC case # on the back of the photos. I used black pen and wrote it with as light as possible (basically, not to put too much pressure on photo when writing).

Hi Jiskat, Im not sure what is required in philippines, but in India we need 2 Police Clearance certificates ( 1 from local passport office and 1 from local police district office).

Please tell me if my DS230 documents is ok to submit:

*DS230 Form Part I (with signed) and Part II (not signed)

*Original Birth Certificate and a photocopy
