Has anyone received I-130 approval during the 1st week of march? Ours was approved March 2nd and I want to see if anyone got anything from NVC yet or know how long it will take.

Hey Ben-n-Ash,

I also got approved on March 2nd and no word from NVC yet. Everytime I call, they keep giving me standard 4 to 6 weeks or upto 90 days estimate, very annoying. I plan to call USCIS sometime tomorrow to see if they can tell me anything about the application.

Lawyers usually give you wide range of time period so you dont keep calling and bothering them, but your case should reach NVC hopefully by today tomorrow. Keep calling NVC thats the only way you will find out.

1-603-334-0700. Make sure you've your USCIS reciept #. Also, it often shows busy so keep dialing till you get in. I hope you get a case # too :)

Thanks waithatter :) This has started to stress me out now. I've been calling everyday, often tolerating rude answers. I have everything ready upto I-864 forms. We're just waiting on PCC which should arrive by mid-next week and I am ready to fly through this. But just can't get to NVC :( Thanks a lot for wishes and prayers, it does feel good to be understood. :)
