Hello guys, I had a quick question:

I called the NVC number and it says ""please allow 6-8 weeks for beneficiary to receive notice"" .. is that the notice for my wife to pick the agent they want or am I confusing it with something else?

I have all the time saver stuff prepared the best they can be at this point and that is the route we will take. There are a few documents that are showing up corrupt for me there on the time saver thread but I hope they are fixed soon.

Thanks for the quick info!

-Troy

Take a look in the NVC forum, below. AussieW recently posted a link to the NVC automated system responses.

It's currently taking a couple of weeks after you're assigned a number for them to generate the first two items.

Hi Troy

The files you refer to in the shortcuts should be up and running in the next 24 hours.

6-8 weeks is a standard response and is generally a lot shorter then that. Most seem to have their first forms generated within 1-3 weeks of being assigned a case number.

6 to 8 weeks is an automated general response. In average, it takes about 2 weeks for DS 3032 (Choice of Agent) and AOS (Affidavit of Support) Bill to be generated. Sometimes, even it takes one week after a case number is assigned for those forms to be generated.

I-130 Timeline with USCIS:

It took 92 days for I-130 to get approved from the filing date

NVC Process of I-130:

It took 78 days to complete the NVC process

Interview Process at The U.S. Embassy

Interview took 223 days from the I-130 filing date. Immigrant Visa was issued right after the interview
