That's $141 each. She will have to pay $282 if the child will be getting the K-2.

Thanx!! Oh I misread the fees, it is $131, not $141. So bad news is I have to pay twice but the good news is I save $20. :) :)

When my wife had her interview it was $100 each. SAVE THE RECEIPT!! When my wife (then fiancee) and I went to pick up the package with the passports and manila envelopes there was just my wife's documents. They did not send her daughter's passport and package. We made the trip to the embassy to find out why, and they claimed we had not paid the visa fee for her daughter. Fortunately my wife had the receipt in her purse so we had to make a copy, pay another DHL delivery fee, and submit it to the embassy for review before her daughter could get her documents. Fortunately her daughter was going to travel to the US two months later than us.

You're going to pay more than twice..... $262 is just the tip of the iceberg!

If I remember correctly, this is actually one thing my wife did pay for. I remember saying something like, "if she really wants to come here, she'll find a way to get to Moscow and her interview." I, of course, paid for almost every single thing since then, but at least she did make the effort to get the ball rolling. Got me good, huh?

$100 each was the old price. The new cost is $131 each.

Don't forget to add in the fee for 2 physicals. They used to be $100 each. I am sure they are more now. Also, the $ for prepaid DHL delivery of the visas. Transportation to Moscow, hotel, food, subway and/or taxi fees. It is or can be an expensive outing.

Good luck on your journey.

And don't forget to have her pay for some/all of it! I can't get over how many guys get on here and say something like, "Well, all told I had to send her over $2,500 but it's so worth it as she got the visa. She'll be here soon." (Well, as soon as you pay another $2,500 for her plane ticket to get here.)

Cost for physical for adult now is $160, $120 for child. :(

That amazes me. Why is the child less than the adult? Is it because there's less to check? What's really messed up is here in the U.S. you have to pay more for a child because they're "harder to deal with" and it's a more "specialized" medicine.

I think I like the Russian system better! There are at least a few things they do correctly over there. Not that medicine is one of them, but at least they're not scared to apply a little common sense sometimes. We're absolutely terrified of it here!
