So do I need to renew my passport when I am applying for AOS and eventually will be a US Citizen?? Whats the use? I am confused. :huh: In regards to that, my passport will expire on or before my aos interview date.

Any info?

Sept 6 06 - AOS Transferred to CSC

Sept 9 06 - Biometrics Appointment

Nov 03 06 - EAD APPROVED!!!! WOOOOOOOOOOT!

Nov 20 06- AOS APPROVED!!!! OMG THANK YOU! THANK YOU THANK YOU! ..now just waitin for d card to arrive ^_^

My passport was due to expire 3 weeks after my AOS interview.... I asked at infopass about it and was told I needed to have a valid passport for at least 6 months or proof that I had applied for one at my interview.... I was able to get mine renewed in time....

Will i lose my Visa page of my passport?? Hows this gonna go? Like the actual signatures and stamps? They can't replicate that can they?

The AOS process does not result in US Citizenship. It's the first step in that direction though.

When you renew your passport (which I would do) you can usually request your old one be returned. They usually punch holes through the old one to void it.
