Hello everyone. I live in Florida and I am now preparing for my AOS application. I had my shots for Tdap, Varicella and MMR on July 23,2008.

My husband made some calls to different USCIS Civil Surgeons near our place to get prices for the tdap and varicella shots. He was also told that I needed to have the physical exam. Luckily, he found a doctor who gives the least cost and made an appointment for me. We went in the next day expecting that I would have my physical exam and 2 shots. To our surprise, the receptionist/nurse/lady-in-charge only transcribed my DS 3025 and said that I didnt need any shots :o:o

Three doctors said that I needed tdap and varicella and even the doctor in Austin, Texas said that I need shots and TB skin test.

Now, I am just wondering if they did the right thing on my case. I know that I needed tdap and varicella shots but my husband and I didnt complain when the people at the Certified USCIS clinic only transcribed my DS3025. The CS decides if one needs shots or not, right?

What do you think guys, should I go back there , have my shots and let them redo my transcription before we submit the AOS application? or wait till I get an RFE for incomplete shots?? :help:

Need your insights on this.

Thanks.

It maybe that the secretary/attendant is just too lazy?? hmmm and what about the doctor, did he/she actually see your wife and said everything is fine, she dont need any further vaccination or anything?? Thats odd.

I have all the vaccines u mentioned in your first sentence. Yet i still have to get tb skin test (which after 48 hours, i have to go back to the doctor and see if im positvie or not), blood taken ( i guess thats for hiv and others), tetanus shot(which is a separate fee from the rest) and the normal blood preassure and enhale and exhale thing, lol.

Pls read captain Ewok's pinned topic about this one. I see now u had your vaccination less than a year ago. For this matter i think its different for when its more that a year. I understand you have a copy of your vaccination from St. Luke's? It will tell you on that piece of paper what shot/s u still need to get.
