hello,

I received an email from CRIS on 03/03/09 saying that my file has been transfered from VSC to CSC on 03/02/09. And in the email it said that they have mailed me a notice of the transfer. But I still have not received any letter yet. And the was a touch on 03/05/09. I'm a little worried since I changed my addresss in October and did get a letter acknowledging the address change...but knowing them, there is still a possibility of the letter being mailed to my old address...

Can someone please tell me how long it took for the letter of notice to arrive, after the email?

Thank you.

Our AOS was transferred to CSC and had the same notice that we'd get something by mail. We never did so I wouldn't worry about it.

My file was transferred on Feb. 25 and I've never seen a letter even though the email said I would receive one. I haven't moved or anything. Personally I'm not sweating it.

My online case status was updated to show the transfer date (Feb. 25) and then again a couple of days later when it was touched. My status simply says 'Petition to Remove Conditions of Permanent Resident Status Received'. I think that's what it probably said when it was at the VSC. I did receive an email on the 25th from CRIS saying it was transferred.
