I recently filed the wrong form because i wasnt sure what i was doing. I efiled the i-90 and paid the $370 fee only to find out i needed to file the i-751 to remove my condition. The efile support refuse to give me refund but tells me to write a letter to cancel the application. Should i even bother with the letter since they wil not give my money back? I still need to file the i-751. I am not even sure where to mail the cancellation letter. Any help would be much appreciated!

Wow sorry you have lost your money, I have never heard of anyone getting a refund from USCIS as they claim it is your responsibility to make sure you are filing for the correct thing!

You can find a guide to "Removing Conditions" by clicking the guide tab at the top of this page. If your Greencard has already expired you are going to have to include a letter explaining why you are late filing. If it has not yet expired you need to file before it does.

Good Luck

You probably will not get your money back. The fee was for the application, which you did. They carried out their end of the deal.

Unless they made a mistake, you can't get a refund. (seems you made the mistake in this case.).

You probably can send the cancel letter to here:

U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services

P.O. Box 54870

Los Angeles, CA 90054-0870

My Advice is usually based on "Worst Case Scenario" and what is written in the rules/laws/instructions. That is the way I roll... -Protect your Status - file before your I-94 expires.

WARNING: Phrases in this post may sound meaner than they were intended to be. Read the Adjudicator's Field Manual from USCIS
