The electric kettle was not replaced by the burning fire ring and tin kettle. The electric kettle, was replaced with the coffee maker.

You can not make tea, or even decent coffee for that matter, in a freaking coffee maker so you need a kettle of some sort.

The burning fire ring and tin kettle are fine for ocasional use but it takes it a longer to boil, uses more energy and risks burning down your house.

If you make drip or pressed coffee by hand or make tea, you are boiling water 15 times a day. No need to fire up the stove for that.

Mar 15, 2008 Biometrics Rescheduled.

Sep 18, 2008 Interview Letter Recieved.

Nov 11, 2008 Interview Passed :-).

Nov 14, 2008 Oath Cerimony.

IKEA sells a cool duvet that comes in two parts that snap together. One is light enough for summer, the other is a fall duvet. Snap them together and they are warm enough for winter. A duvet of all seasons.

I LOVE IKEA..............and an IKEA store opens here on june the 7th................ :blush::P

We did both K3 & CR1 visa's, got both!!- I returned to England for my CR1 interview after first arriving on a K3 visa!!

May/25th 2006- Green card arrives in the mail................YAY!!

19th June 2006 I Had to go to the Social Security Office to get my number, the DS-230 didnt work for me!!

26-June-2006- Social Security# arrived in the mail....YAY!!

Feb 2008 lift conditions <<<reminder to self!!<<<< went to England for a visit instead, no rush right, 90 days is a long time,LOL

alas there are none close to NC, and they don't deliver to our part of NC either :(

Met online 2001 - just aquaintances

Sept 2002 - 1st US visit - everything goes perfectly.

Dec 20th - Forms recev'd at CSC

Dec 27th - NOA1 received by snail mail!

Dec 29th - 'Touched'

March 10 2006 - NOA2!

March 23 - recv'd at NVC

March 24 - petition sent to London

April 9th - Pkt 3 rec'd!

May 17th - Pkt 3 signed for at London Embassy

May 24th - Medical

May24th - Pkt 4

June 14th - Interview 10am - APPROVED 1pm!!

June 16th - Visas received in my hot little hands 1pm :)

July 19th - flying to US!

July 27th - Married!! :-)

Aug 7th - Applied for SSN in married name

Aug 9th - SSN received
