Hi Emma,

We started the process a few weeks ago and I see that you know how your file moves. How did you get that information? Can you have it online?

I am very curious about knowing where it is now!!!!

Thanks and good luck,

Sylvanito

What kinda info you want to know ? if you talking about the NVC info you have to call them .

but if you talking about USCIS info yeah you can get that online .

Nothing's impossible . Nothing's unreachable .When I am weary you make me stronger

This love is beautiful .So unforgettable . I feel no winter cold when we are together .

Will you stand by me ?!!!Hold on and never let me go .

Will you stand by me?!! With you i know i belong . When the story gets told .

When day turns into night .I look into your eyes . I see my future now .All the world and its wonder

This love wont fade away. And through the hardest days . I will never question us .You are the reason my only reason.

I'm blessed to find what i need in a world loosing hope. you are my only believe .

You make things right every time after time.....

Will you stand by me ?!!!

I love you so much and i miss you so much more .

Hi Sylvanito,

I basically read nearly all the topics related to the K1 visa and asked a couple of questions which other people kindly replied to. As soon as we got the email from USCIS to say they had sent our case to the NVC we rang the number in the letter but kept getting the automated system and then someone advised we speak to an agent as the K!'s don't always get put on there. The lady at NVC was really nice, after giving our names and dob's she gave me our case number. I then went on to the DHL website to track it and saw that our file had been sent on the 05th March to US embasyy in London and they received it yesterday (09th). We now have to wait for packet 3 whcuh I'm hoping won't take long!

hi Emma!

I was approved a few days before you I think and according to DOS my case has still not arrived at London but they do have the 'electronic' copy. Can you help me figure out how you do the DHL thing?

I've just found out how from searching here, cool, looks like mine was received on the 3rd!! There must have been several Londoners though, said it weighed 24.9lbs!

Hi Kirsten,

Wow that was a heavy package! I notice you have a date for the medical, did you just book that yourself to save time?

After you mail in your packet 3 documents, I suggest you follow up with them within a week just in case they tried to send you an interview notification and for whatever reason "didn't get through."

That's what happened to me and my fiancee. They claim to have sent her an interview notification via email but she never received anything. It would have been way fast if this were true. She sent in the packet 3 stuff on Feb 11th express. So let's say they received it on the 12th. They claim to have emailed the interview appointment on Feb 13th for a Feb 24th interview, which my fiancee "didn't show up for." I think it's total BS that someone messed up on but will never admit to.

You're welcome. I noticed that you're still waiting for the consulate to send you the packet 3 stuff. May I suggest that you or your fiancee begin gathering some of the documents immediately and not wait for the packet 3 stuff (we already have a list of it from visajourney).

The one that took us the longest was the police record (3 weeks!!). Everything else took 1-2 days. Had we began gathering the police record as soon as the NOA2 arrived, my fiancee would probably be with me in the states right now. So if you haven't already gone to the police station to get the record/certificate, do it today if possible! :) The packet 3 they send you doesn't include anything (maybe 1 or 2 weird things pertaining to your consulate) you can't get by reading the checklists found on this site.

Hi, I have gathered all the documents that we need to fill in, I have booked my medical too, I thought as it is valid for 6 months I should be ok! I have filled in the police forms and just need to get a photo done to send with it. I am slightly confused though, I called the department of state and they told me my pack was sent to Uk embassy on Mar 5th and delivered and signed for on Mar 09th, I called yesterday to check progress (i'm slightly obsessed with this) and spoke to a different agent who told me yes it was sent on the 5th but not yet showing as delivered!!! They seem to be very unorganised and the info is never the same! I'm just hoping I get pack 3 soon!
