POE - Traveling from POE

Hi, I flying up to Toronto then my K-1 fiance and I are flying back down. I'm flying between Pearson Intl Airport in Toronto and Dulles Intl Airport in Virginia. I am little confused about the POE stuff. Are we handing over the brown envelope etc. in Toronto or in Dulles? Anyone have any experiences to share with traveling through Pearson in Toronto? Can I go with her in the same line for Canadians or what? What should we expect?

Canucker18 (I think) did you go fly or just drive. I don't mean to point you out but I think you recently did the K-1 route and all that.

You will hand the envelope in at your P.O.E into the U.S which issued the Visa. P.O.E. stands for point of entry and you are entering the U.S.

I know that.....I just don't remember having to pass through customs at all in Dulles the last time or seeing any signage etc. refering to customs. However, since I had to pass through customs leaving out of Pearson I wasn't sure. Anyone with actual POE experiences through either of these airports?

That would be her POE

She will be going thru US Immigrations in Toronto before connecting to Virgina.

K-1/K-2 AOS APPROVED IN ATLANTA MAY 17, 2006

10 year GC Approved - APRIL 16th ,2009 - Peggy and Jonathan's......

Still waiting for our cards...Had to file I-90 as they sent them to the wrong address.

March 9th, 2010, Received GC that has been lost in the mail for 10 months. Still waiting for my son's that is lost as well.

Filed Waiver for my son's 10 year GC and it was approved. He finally received his GC after its been missing for 2 years.

Thanking God this is over for 10 years.

I had no idea that Tronoto was now part of the US!

ok thanks but do we go through the US citizens/perm. residents line or the canadian citizens line?

I gather you haven't flown out of Canada to the US ?? Because almost all of the international airports in major cities in Canada have US Customs on the Canada side ...

08-24-06 - AOS/EAD mail to Chicago (Day 1)
11-06-06 - GC & Welcome Letter arrive in Mail (Day 75)

I-751
09-23-08 - Sent Package via USPS (Day 1)
01-02-09 - Received GC in mail (with wrong Resident Since date) (Day 101)
