Does it really happened when you check your status online and it says error? We got our NOA1 and use the receipt number to check our status but it says error...We tried to call the USCIS, and it says that its not on there system yet.

Its very possible that USCIS has not inputted it into their system yet. When did you receive your NOA1??? Give it a few more days.

Yes, it's a definite problem right now. Make sure you call them. I called them last week to let them know that mine is not available online or in the phone system and was informed that there was a "computer glitch" and it was passed along to their tech group. They couldn't say how long it would take the tech group to fix it though. Like I said, it's been a week and it's not fixed yet, so I'm not holding my breath, but you should definitely call them.

Yes, it's a definite problem right now. Make sure you call them. My case didn't show up in the online system until the day it was approved (6 weeks after NOA1) - I wouldn't worry about it!

They have no idea how crazy this drives people. I have been told by multiple other VJers that I may never get in the system. Also, I live in Kentucky and my application should have been forwarded to Vermont but it was sent directly to California. I am not sure what this means either.

I can't see my case online either. My husband called USCIS this morning, and the automated system did not recognize our receipt number. So he called back and didn't press any buttons and wound up speaking with a guy named George. The call was transferred to someone else who said (I'm quoting my husband here) "we are in the system. If it's not showing up then it's a computer glitch, and she's sending an email to the technical department and we should be able to see our case online within 3 weeks from today." So I guess we'll just have to wait and see if that actually happens.

I got my Nao1 on February 23rd and I still cannot access my account online or by phone. I have called them at least 5 times and they say it hasn't be inputted yet.
