I have my interview later today and just read in the USCIS' PDF guide to naturalization that they recommend taking two passport photos to the interview. Is this in addition to the two I sent in the original application? Has anyone done this and were they needed?

My Brothers wife had her interview at the begining of Feb and yes she took 2 photos just incase and she was asked for them at the interview, she had to sign them after she had been approved and when she went to her oath ceremony it was that photo that was on the certificate.

I did read that, but, didn't take them, and didn't need them. My Naturalization certificate has the photo I submitted with the N-400 application.

But, I was also aware there was a "photo place" across the road where I could make an urgent dash to, if needed.
