Hi all,

I got a question, and this place has always been my guiding light for this sort of stuff.

I came to live in IL in 2007 with a K1 visa, got married in 2007 and got my Green Card in October 2007. The card has an expiration date of 10/22/09.

October 09 is still a little bit of time away, however I want to start now preparing what I need to do next, so my question is: what is my next step? Which forms do i need to get together? What proceedure do I follow next?

Any advice would be very helpful!

The I-751 tells you a lot about what to submit. It is a good idea to search VJ and see what others have submitted. There are a lot of things mentioned here that are not on the instructions for the I-751. Pictures for example. Good luck.
