My wife was born and lived in Vietnam until 1992 (she was 17 years old at the time) and had since lived in Canada. Our I-130 was forwarded to the NVC in April 2008 and we are still at a stand still almost one year later due to our inability to obtain the NVC requested police clearance for the time my wife lived in Vietnam. Fortunately I think we are very close to receiving the document. Do you need to have the document translated/certified/stamped at US Consulate abroad?
