hello everybody,

we have just got our interview date, by email from the NVC , which has been scheduled at the U.S. consulate of Casablanca Morocco on April 6, 2009 at 08h15 am!!!

i am so happy and so nervous!

Service Center : Vermont Service Center

Consulate : Morocco

Marriage : 2007-12-12

I-130 Sent : 2008-02-20

I-130 NOA1 : 2008-02-25

I-130 Approved : 2008-11-18

NVC Received : 2008-12-03

Case Completed at NVC : 2009-02-20

Interview Date : 2009-04-06

Visa Received : 2009-04-07

US Entry Wash DC : 2009-04-12

I-751 Sent : 2011-03-16

I-751 NOA received : 2011-04-08

Biometrics letter : 2011-xx-xx

Biometrics appointment : 2011-xx-xx

Estimates/Stats : Your I-130 was approved in 267 days from your NOA1 date.

Timeline: 13 month long journey from filing to visa in hand

If you were lucky and got an approval and reunion with your loved one rather quickly; Please refrain from telling people who waited 6+ months just to get out of a service center to "chill out" or to "stop whining" It's insensitive,and unecessary. Once you walk a mile in their shoes you will understand and be heard.

Congratulations! And please please please remember to write up a very comprehensive review of the interview on the Embassy page. I want to learn from your experience!

inshallah just after passing the interview we will post our experience on here to help any one else will have it especially at this consulat.

i will have the medical exam at 9h am in casa tomorow with dr khadija zirari , i called her , she told me to bring with me my passport , the appointement letter ,3 passport photo and 3000 dh!!!!

any one else here has told that?? i though it is half that price!

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

07/21/11 filed AOS off tourist visa

07/28/11 USCIS cashed check

07/30/11 Recieved NOA1 and Biometrics letter

08/24/2011 Biometrics

08/25/2011 RFE sent to us for some info we've already sent in

08/30/2011 sent in the rest of info USCIS asked for

09/13/2011 went to congressman's office to sign papers for expedite of work permit, due to financial hardship

09/15/2011 Work permit expedite approved!! He can finally find a job!

09/24/2011 work permit arrives

09/26/2011 Apply for social security number!

09/30/2011 Letter is sent for interview

11/07/2011 INTERVIEW!!!

Its 2012 and still no approval! Still waiting

01/27/2012 Letter sent stating that file was sent on for more review :(
