hm, when it comes to changing the address. we have moved a long time ago and i did change my address online. and now when i got some "notice letter" from the immigration just to remind me it is time to file I-751....there was no unit number in my address and i did put that unit number in when i was changing my address online. there is a lot of units where we live, so it must have taken a long time to find ours.

i am so sorry, i did not mean to do that. i do not understand why did my reply showed up here like 11 times or how many times. our computer is really slow tonight, and i clicked on add reply a few times, because the computer was in a complete limbo and not it is here like 11 times.

Yes everyone has to be careful with changing address. I have heard of other cases like mine, where the new address was confirmed but mail sent to the old address; or with them messing up the new address like you, sunshine78. If possible, people should have contact with anyone living at the old address, and check their online status frequently. I think with so many tens of thousands of files laying around in boxes and on shelves, when we change the address it is very hard for them to make a note on the actual file. :blink:
