Ok. My I130 was approved April 13, 2006. I moved end of February, 2006 and called and gave my change of address. Then I realized I gave it to them backwards and called them 30 days later and gave them the correction. The I130 was still not approved then. I got an email on the 13th of April that the I130 was approved. Then no letter stating such in the mail. Then, called again, told them no letter. Didn't even received a letter stating they received my new address. Then called again, still no letter. They told me I could fill out an I834 for a copy of the approval letter. I went online and saw it was 200.00 to do that. I said to myself, forget that! They didnt' even send the original to my attorney. The National Visa Center hasn't gotten the file. They said you have to allow up to 90 days. Well it's way over 60 days. They also told me that they usually get the files 2-4 weeks after approval. If I had the approval letter, I could have faxed it to them and they would contact INS in CA. In the meantime, Ihave no letter of approval, no letter saying they received my address change, no letter of approval to my attorney and no file at the NVC! What the hell is going on here? Thank God I filed the K3 and my husband has an interview scheduled in Amman Jordan on August 23, 2006. Otherwise, I'd have to move there which would have been a problem since I am the sponsor.
