When to file I-148 & I-1864

Hi everyone:

I'm confused about when to file I-148 & I-1864.I'm currently assembling all the doc.s for I-130,so at the begining of the process.

Do I file & send the I-148 & I-864 forms along with the I-130 package or do I wait untill I-130 is approved and are requested by NVC?

For any help,much appriciated.

Hmmm..I'm almost through NVC and have NO idea what the I-148 is. But I do know the I-864 is not sent in until requested by NVC.

It looks like I had a typo with my first post.

I was refering to I-485 form,not I-148.When do we send I-485?

you only need to file a I-485 if you are going the K-3 route. If you are doing CR-1/IR-1 you won't need to file the I-485 only the I-864 when the NVC requests it.
