Hey everyone...I sent out papers in march but they were received on April 3rd...3 WORDS I'M BEGINING TO DISLIKE "RECEIVED AND PENDING". Wish all couples the very best and a speedy reunion...Gosh, how bad I want that...I had to reset my password yesterday, so when I open my email inbox today, there's this email from CRIS...my heart rate tripled...then I realized it was just a confirmation on my my password change...hopefully August is our NOA2 month...peace

ok, RICHARD, i wont give up, i have an idea, why dont we make up a complaint letter together, mentioning all the above facts, ( also that they are seperating us from our SO's for so long becuase now they are in the system as K1 filers and they cannot come visit without the risk of being turned back )we demand them to send our petitions to CSC for immmediate processing since they are backlogged at VSC and it is just not right that we wait while APRILand MAY filers are getting approved. we all sign it somehow, and send it in(strength in numbers) i for one will sign it,,,,,,,,,,whos with me?

Strega... our SOs are welcome to travel to see us, providing they have a visa or VWP... Yes they do stand the chance of being denied entry, but they stand that chance anyway... having any visa is no guarantee they are allow in the country.. My SO was just here and obviously we have a K1 pending. In fact, even though they asked to see her return ticket which was for 7July 8th, they gave her a 6 month I-94...

Just thought I would say that :)

Hello, another March filer here. Just discovered this thread. I got the NOA1 on March 13. And have heard nothing since. Not even a touch.

Welcome to the Family!

Why is VSC not moving???????? #######... CSV is moving by the day with approvals.... =\ They seem to have like 2 a week

Love is patient and kind;

it is not jealous or conceited or proud;

love is not ill-mannered or selfish or irritable;

love does not keep a record of wrongs;

love is not happy with evil, but is happy with the truth.

Love never gives up; and its faith, hope, and patience never fail.

Love is eternal.

I thought I might pass something on to my March family... Just now, since I am bored as can be, I decided to read the July 09 thread. I started from the beginning since there were only 3 pages. It was full of people posting they just sent in the 129f, check was cashed, NOA1 received etc. Any way, reading this, for me, brought back some of the enthusiasm I had when I first filed and took away some of the anxiety I currently feel.. at least for the time being... Maybe reading other Newbies posts will also inspire some of you?

Just a thought

well my fiance and i are talking about keeping our options open; maybe ill just fly to Okinawa and get married there then when it comes for that time when we'll leave for US then, we'll just do DCF in okinawa; but it's still just an option for now

im gonna ask for Vjers advise and all plus he will talk to their admin about how that will be for us, me changing my status when i get to japan; coz im most likely flying their on a visitor visa and for me to legally stay more than 90 days he;ll have me get a SOFA status so he'll talk to a bunch of people first; coz from this timeline who knows plus maybe we can just get married here in my country;

so if the K-1 wont work out we'll do that instead :) or file for a K-3 by then i can just wait with him

but learning of this option though made me excited lol

saves us time and money lol

all those air fares for both me and him flying to the US then to okinawa.. and the aos

at least if we'll do the DCF we'll just file for the CR-1/IR-1 and DCF takes lesser time too..

when he and i planned on the K-1 we were so clueless and thought this was the best option..

and when he talked to someone from their admin someone told him we should just do the visitor visa in japan then get married there..but this was a few months after we filed for the K-1 though

so for now we're still trying to figure that one out and of course pray for God's guidance about what to do but we wont scratch the K-1 yet

Luke 18:27 Jesus said" what is impossible to men is possible with God."

Okay, not to be a nattering nabob of negativism, but.... WHAT THE HELL?!?!

CSC has approved over 50% of their March petitions and is well into APRIL...

...meanwhile...

VSC has come to a screeching halt.

:ranting::protest:

Improved USCIS Form G-325A (Biographic Information)

Form field input font changed to allow entry of dates in the specified format and to provide more space for addresses and employment history. This is the 6/12/09 version of the form; the current version is 8/8/11, but previous versions are accepted per the USCIS forms page.

Thanks for the perspective, Richard-Joanna. You're right—CSC had a VERY slow May: http://cse.ssl.berkeley.edu/igor/vjdata/stats.aspx

Holy sh*t. I've never been in this sub-forum before until i posted my "Vermont Service Center frustration" thread in the Philippine regional.

It got moved over here and now i see how many are still waiting for their NOA2's.

This thoroughly sucks now.

All March filers (to the best of my knowledge) are still waiting their NOA2... which last I saw was 124 couples.
