Hey everyone! I've been working and taking a break from all of the waiting around here.....how are all of ya'll doing? Stan, it's getting close to the time!!!

Yes'm, I'm hoping to see more March filers this week getting approvals. Hard to follow the Feb thread - would need to read 15 pages just to see if someone got their NOA2. Chatty bunch, but they seem to have fun.

What's this about Africa? I read several posts and I think I have the gist of the story. I'm excited for you! Keep us up-to-date on how things progress.

Welcome back, Richard. Hope the cruise was everything you wanted it to be and more.

For all of us, hope the remainder of the wait goes by fast and is relatively painless!

Lars accepted a job in the Congo, he's pretty excited about it too! I can't go with him right away but plan on going next year for sure. We are still going forward with the K1 and plan on getting married in November if we can get everything done in time, and then applying for advance parole so he can go on back to work. It's complicated but.....that's life!

So you'll get married in the states, get the AP, he goes to the Congo, and you follow later - is that right? Sounds like a plan.

And I understand complicated. It looks like Amy will have some extra steps before the interview. But on a positive note, we found out about it now so we can get it started rather than waiting until the NOA2. If it was easy, anybody could do it............

I just talked to the NVC to get clarification about what exactly we need to do, they are VERY nice there. Yes, you are right, if it was easy, everyone would be doing this! I bet that will be fun!!

The kids are definitely coming, but the timing still needs to be worked out and much is in the hands of the visa process. Her older son has finished high school, but I'm not sure how that translates here and whether he will need something else prior to college. Her younger son is in school now and the "summer vacation" falls under different months. So best guess is that they will come over the Christmas holidays. We're getting everything ready and will have their visas issued when Amy's is, so the only thing left will be getting their tickets. They'll stay with Amy's sister until the time is right for them to join us (hopefully very soon after).

i hope vsc hurries up!

its been almost 6 months since i have seen my fiance and its killing us!

i might have to go fly to brazil for the weekend...

its worth the money for a mere 30 hours together!
