Just checking in with my March family to let you know that we went to our interivew on the 20th in Montreal and we were approved!!!

Yay!!!

Sean is coming to visit for Christmas without activating his Visa (the Consular Deputy was our interviewer and he personally made a note to the border patrol telling them it's ok), and then he is going to POE in February so that we can get married on the 29th of April and still be within the 90 days.

I've booked and put deposits down for our wedding . . . so it's the real deal now.

Wow, a lot has happened and all of it great stuff!

Missy is Missesy? I never got the invite!

Richard - We expect to hear of your approval soon! We all know you'll get it.

Bella - great news!

Mari-Joe - good to hear!

Amy has her interview on Tuesday. We're both going over everything wondering what we could have forgotten, wondering what the next disappointment will be. But hey, we're actually optimistic and secretly expect her to be here sometime around Dec 10. We just don't want the Visa Gods to see us smiling - not good to get cocky.

Will let you know in about 32 hours (but who's counting?).

Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving.

I never would have believed my journey to happiness would begin with something called an "I-129F"

03/19/09 - I-129F Sent

03/20/09 - NOA1 (rec'd harcopy 3/26/09)

03/24/09 - Check cleared

03/25/09 - Touched

8/12/09 - Touched (4 hours before NOA2 email)

8/12/09 - NOA2 email received

***Received email at noon (Weds)

***USCIS site did update with the status

***Was 113 on Berkeley list; 156 on VJ list
