WOW, I am away from the thread for a day and miss all the drama and STAN!

Missy, I agree, everything will be fine..... I am sorry I was not around to hold your hand yesterday!

STAN... I have missed you man! December 1 is just around the corner, I am happy for you buddy!!!!!

Hey Richard! I missed you too, my friend. Glad to hear you're heading that way to be at the interview. You have a cooler head than I - I'd be worried I might do something stupid after all the headache. Brings up an interesting question - can they kick you out of your embassy? Would be like deporting you to a foreign country.

Maybe Richard can try it and let us know!

If they dont approve us, I am sure they will have to kick me out!! :D

Listen, I wanted to go to the interview and would have, except a plane ticket to Brazzaville was going to cost me $2,500 a few weeks ago. And, I have the money and could have gone but I didn't have time to get all the shots and start the malaria meds - otherwise I would have been there. I would have much rather spent the money and been there to "handle" it all myself!

Now that I don't have much of my own hair left (because I've pulled it all out), I'm thinking about a blonde wig.....whatcha think? Can I pull if off?

I think $2,500 is a fair price to go to Brazzaville - just to see the braz.

Congrats Missy!

I never would have believed my journey to happiness would begin with something called an "I-129F"

Thanks everyone! I could not have made this journey without all of you! It looks like I am going to drive to Dallas and pick my man up tomorrow afternoon! It's only a 6 hour drive and we love car trips, hotel rooms....never mind, ya'll don't need to know about that!

Anyway - we went from waiting and more waiting to warp speed in a few hours, I have to go so I can get busy:

(a) clean the house

(B) gotta buy some Dr. Pepper and ice cream

© get laundry caught up

(d) find someone to rake the yard and clean it up a little

(e) put all this ####### that I've been piling up in the house AWAY!!

Love to all of you!!

03/26/09 : NOA1

UPDATE!!!

He's here!!! I picked him up at the airport here in Jackson last night at 6:00 p.m. I cannot say how happy I am right now!

In case you were wondering what's in the mysterious brown envelope that everyone talks about - in ours was our original application that I sent to Vermont, with every correspondence, service request and Congressional Inquiry that I made! It even had the original FedEx envelope that I sent it all in! I was amazed that we got it back!

Lars said that in Houston - his POE - they asked him how my mother was doing!

Anyway - he is here and we are getting married on Tuesday and filing the AOS Wednesday.
