Hi All

Glad to hear that Richard.I called them today as well this morning and they told me I was still in AP.Over two weeks now..

No reason given and she said there is no time limit to tell me..

This is horrible.

And its a three day weekend perfect.

I am losing hope on all this ..Again

DON'T YOU DARE GIVE UP!!! Do I need to come down to Florida and kick your butt?? Wait a minute....trip to Florida in October, sunny weather, beaches.....*

*edited to say

Carl, I'm coming to Florida to kick your butt!!! See you tomorrow!

Seriously, you need to go hang out with everyone in the Stuck in NVC thread. ScottThuy and Crazy Mazy,MariJoe...they all hang out over there and are really helpful and supportive.

Hang in there, you can do this!

Thanks Missy

I have read it can take an average of 30 days .

I guess I will just see her next year.. This is so bad for the relationship.

I am so stressed and trying to explain to Jessica is so difficult..

I guess my real pain is she is waiting. My pain reaches deep.

Thanks for your support.

there are literally a TON of reasons. I read that some embassies ask that peititions be held, if they have a lot to process, I have read that there is a serious back log of applications at NVC and they are processing them as fast as they can. In your case, I believe it's both. I don't think it will take 30 days, please go and talk to the guys that are in the Stuck in NVC thread, they are soo supportive. You will see her before the end of this year!

Carl, my friend,

I suggest you visit and post in the Stuck in AP thread. I hate to tell you that it may be on average lately of +/- 30 days. It took 34 for us. Don't loose hope, there is no reason to, even though it seems hopeless. Carl, tell Jessica it will be sent to the embassy in as little as two weeks and make her feel good about it all and be positive because she will be under alot of stress come interview time which is not far away; It seems like it but it's not. I know exactly what you feel now but this is your push to the finish and it will become her turn in just a small time so please don't let your worries get her down. Do everything you can to make her feel confident now.

I would suggest you put in a congressional request of inquiry to their liason @ NVC on Monday,; It won't hurt. And don't call NVC everyday 'cause it will drive you mad. And when you do call do it after 3:30 when they pretty much have their tallys for the day. Rather make sure all your paperwork is current and show her all the love and support that you have. Be ready to mail all current papers to her @ anytime. God bless you and Jessica. We will pray for you, and feel free to vent here that is what we are here for pal.

And to anyone who has not gone through a long time in AP @ NVC, it's 50x worse than USCIS!! We support you Carl and Jessica. :star:

stille og rolig - that's the correct spelling. It means take it easy and when I hear it over and over again out of my Danish sweetie's mouth, it makes me want to pull my hair out!!

LOL and he is not even here yet and you are pulling your hair out :D

Carl... I know it sucks in having to wait so long and hit every single bump in the road... but the truth is, that this is the last hoop you two have to jump through and this whole thing will be behind you! You have already waiting an unbelievable 7 months... a few more weeks is a cake walk! Soon this will all be behind you and you will be together and all this will fade away!

Nope. I'm tracking our package and it's in Gabon, I guess it will arrive at the embassy on Monday - but I'm not sure if it's a holiday for them or not. We are hanging in there, crossing our fingers that the rest of this goes smoothly and he is out of there and on his way HERE on November 15th!!
