Hi Guys ! How does constant calling to NVC , for example every day, can hurt our cases ? Thanks

It will not hurt. In fact you need to call every day untill they tell you your case is sent on to the embassy or you have won the lucky door prize of being the 100th customer to be selected for AP. j/k. :star:

Thx...did you read on the Canadian thread about someone had called and apparently there was a 'meeting' about Montreal. We can always hope that something will come of it. At the very least the slowness has been noted by somebody . Of course that may be AFTER our time has come and gone. lol I'm seeing people getting NOA2's in 43 days and thinking "NOW they pick up the pace.....just my sh$t luck! I may be thinking the same after my interview as well"

I heard that! How awesome it would be if they let the Ottawa Embassy do the Visas! I work for an airline and I would gladly jump onto a plane for any

Canadian city to get it done!!!

As you said though, they'll probably get their stuff together once our time with them is done. I anticipated this long wait. My hope it to have the visa no later than March. In the meantime, I'm going to keep travelling back and forth and making the most of my time here with my family.

Congrats again!

Well, I have our tracking number from DHL and I SAW the package going to Brazzaville, Congo. My heart stopped when I saw it. Plus, I called the embassy again and talked to someone that spoke english and it was very encouraging. I feel hopeful that we can get it all done and have him home by November 16th. Whew.....I'm exhausted by all of this.

One thing that has been a little unexpected.....I had thought that once I finished MY part of all of this, I would stop worrying about it all. I mean, Lars is an intelligent, mature, organized and focused man. He has an important job and has several degrees for goodness sake! WRONG - he's not nearly as organized as I am, he's not a worrier like I am....he's more of a "things will work out on their own" kind of guy. It's driving me crazy!

You guys have been my lifeline!! :luv::luv::luv:

Hi , Guys ! Today i got a hard copy of NOA2 and it said that my petition was forwarded to the listed consulate. But I know for a fact that my docs are at NVC where I have been assigned a new case number. Why is that and if anyone knows and filed i-824 should I do the same. My attorney told me to disregard this since its a standard letter they send everyone. Thanks for advice and help.

Victim, you need to look at the NVC thread. http://www.visajourney.com/forums/index.php?showforum=83

As for the I-824 i dont think there is such a thing but no, you do not need that at this stage. you only need the I-134.
