Well, this won't help you either, and Stephen - you should have told us!! They keep a record of how many times you call there!!! GASP!! I was shocked when I called last night and after going through all of the secret word verification stuff they make you go through the person on the phone said to me, AND I QUOTE:

Ms. Horst, I see that you called here earlier today at 3:45. Do you really believe that 5 hours is enough time for your status to change here with us?

I had received an email from a supervisor telling me that my status had changed.....that's why I called. They are a snotty bunch of creeps there. I miss USCIS people. At least they were consistent in their ignorance. NVC is a ####### shoot. You will get a different answer every time you call.

The latest today is they are trying to contact the embassy in BRAZIL to see if they will accept the k1 package.....I asked her to repeat it, did you say BRAZIL??? Yes....BRAZIL. As in SOUTH AMERICA???? No, no, no.....Brazil in Congo. (meaning Brazzaville, but I can see how you'd get confused about it)

Repeat after me - DUMBASS!!!

Okay, rant over. I miss ya'll, everyone has gone away!!

I seriously can't believe that you have not been approved yet. I had been at a CE conference off and on for the last few days and I had to take a small break from all of this but really, I had expected that this week would see you out of CIS.

I'm so sorry - I told my parents the other day that this has been the most challenging thing I have ever done, EVER!

I know it's easy to say but I mean this from my heart, hang in there!! Don't let go. And, I miss you!

Thanks Missy...you're always so sweet! I'm just getting to the freak out stage now. The Canadian consulate is SOOOOO SLOW and I've been praying for this to be done so we could hopefully have a December interview. So many other factors come into play as well but I don't like posting too much on a public forum. We'll just say my stress level is maxed out now. lol All I can hope for at this point is that Montreal picks up the pace and doesn't keep me waiting like USCIS is. Unfortunately I peek over there on the Canada thread and see June approvals still waiting for an interview. Is that ridiculous or what?

After my call to the embassy in Manila, I tried the NVC and got one of those snotty people too that "could not help me because it was out of her hands." I even explained to her how the process works of getting my paperwork at the embassy and sending out the interview notice only to have her tell me no then tell me what I just told her as being the way it's done. She sounded like an american too. Then I called the Dept. of State, got a nice lady that helped as best she could, and she definitely didn't sound american. I'll stick with the DOS and emailing the embassy as well because I'm sure "Tina" and I are both tired of talking with each other at this point. My fiancee's interview-mate/flybuddy got her visa today. Looks like we will miss the flight. :crying:

Good evening to all from Philippines!

i thought Stan will stop over to say hello here..

I've talked to Amy and she told me Stan is a little busy with work

and he told her that he will drop by here soon.. i mentioned to them

that most of March fillers got their NOA2 and we are all happy for the good news..

they are both ok but sad.. because Amy mentioned she will get her sputum result on Nov.5

negative or positive.. Stan cannot wait to be with Amy..i hope they can immediately

schedule the interview after they get the sputum result.

to some march fillers who are still having difficulties with this process..

i will keep you guys in my prayers. God bless to all!
