Well... I thought that I haven't had enough fun today so I thought I would call the USCIS.

Aaaaaaaaand??? What did they say?

I am still talking with them...

they are putting in service request and an expedite on the request but not on the application.

LAME... I'd say even lamer than NVC not taking incoming faxes

Improved USCIS Form G-325A (Biographic Information)

Form field input font changed to allow entry of dates in the specified format and to provide more space for addresses and employment history. This is the 6/12/09 version of the form; the current version is 8/8/11, but previous versions are accepted per the USCIS forms page.

I was very very very nice... and I was just chit chatting with the officer after she took my service request. I asked her if there was a way to actually speak to an adjudicating officer, which she said that there was no way of doing that... but I could speak to a supervisor. She suggested that I wait until the results of this service request before doing so. I told the officer how difficult it is to sometimes even get through tier I and then most officers wont allow you to speak to a supervisor... so I think I will take the opportunity while I have a nice officer on the phone now... she said ok and transferred me. transferred me right into voice mail :)

Nope and frankly I'm getting really pissy about it. I haven't been posting cause all I wanna do is B*TCH and MOAN and its hard when there's many others who have been waiting even longer *sigh*

Seems they entered me in the system after we called and complained and then tossed my application in the "do not disturb" pile. Not a touch or anything.

So enough about me.....how are you and Joanna holding up?

Yes, both of you will, and Missy and Carl & Jessica and the rest of the March family!

And hopefully your stay at NVC will be short and sweet!

USCIS has updated the processing times for the centers.

This version of the page says 5 months for I-129Fs at VSC, while this one says April 23.

Interesting.

Thank you... I think I will wait to see what the service request comes up with. The Congressional unit inside the VSC has already responded to my Congressman's inquiry, albeit, too vague for my taste. If the service request comes back equally as vague then I will do some more squeaking..

Thank you for the offer though.

I truly believe that there are politics afoot inside the USCIS and at the end of the day, the people there really just dont care... I am fighting a losing battle. Until the end of the year comes... I believe there is nothing more I can do to help push this along.
