We had a staff meeting this morning. No worries, I'm back to stalking VJ and NVC now. ;)

Good morning Stephen.... what time are you calling the NVC? :)

After lunch most likely... I'll give them the morning to finish up the blasted AP. And if I'm still in there and haven't received a response to my emails by then, I'm faxing them.

Improved USCIS Form G-325A (Biographic Information)

Form field input font changed to allow entry of dates in the specified format and to provide more space for addresses and employment history. This is the 6/12/09 version of the form; the current version is 8/8/11, but previous versions are accepted per the USCIS forms page.

a minute ago, I check the USCIS site... and I could have sworn it had the last update of 09/10/2009 my heart started racing... and I clicked on the EAC number... it still said pending... so I clicked on the my portfolio link and it is back saying last update 03/26/2009.

Am I crazy? I think so!

Strange!

And if you're crazy, it's only because VSC has driven you to it!

I got an offer in on one of my new listings so....I have been on the phone all morning (sellers out of town). I checked USCIS site once today and that's it for me.

I am going to make the rounds and call Congressman Harper's office and Senator Roger Wicker's office. I wonder if they care that I am naming them here??? One day I am going to write about how awful Senator Cochran's staff is. Complete idiots. Actually - I was thinking of asking for that job - the immigration liason. I think I could do a much better job than the current person.

Hope ya'll are all having a good day. STAN, WHERE ARE YOU?????

03/26/09 : NOA1

09/23/09 : NOA2

11/13/09 : APPROVED and visa in hand!!!

Awww...thanks! Be amazed and dazzled right now because once Lars is back.....things won't be quite so busy! My bestest friend and college roommate is also my broker. We've been friends for over 30 years! She and I know when we are happy and when we aren't. Unhappy - we work night and day and we really are selling machines! Happy and satisfied....not so much.

I can't think of a better way to pass this time though - make as much money as I can while I can!!

Still @ NVC.

I put together a nice letter and tried to fax it, only to discover that NVC apparently doesn't accept incoming faxes. The line is either busy or just rings and rings. Bah! So I'm sending it express mail.

To Whom It May Concern:

Last week, I received a letter from this office dated September 4, 2009 stating that the above-referenced approved I-129F Petition for Alien Fiancé(e) would be forwarded to the visa-issuing post “within a week.” As of the writing of this letter, the petition has not been forwarded to Seoul.

It is my understanding that approved I-129F petitions are given expedited handling by the National Visa Center, and are to be forwarded to the listed consulate within a week of receipt from the USCIS service center. Based on my research, the vast majority of I-129Fs are sent onward within 2 to 4 days. As indicated by the NVC case number, our file was received and processed on August 31, 2009, meaning that NVC has now been processing the case for over 2 weeks—more than twice the stated time.

My fiancée and I made every effort to include all required documentation in our I-129F submission, and I am confident that our petition was complete and correct in every respect. Neither I nor my fiancée has ever been arrested or charged with a crime, much less convicted of one. I am unable to fathom the reason why our petition has been subjected to this excessive and unreasonable delay.

The further prolongation of this process imposes an unfair emotional and financial hardship upon my fiancée and me. Therefore, I respectfully request that you contact me at once to offer a detailed explanation for this delay and, further, that you make every effort to dispatch the file to Seoul immediately. I may be reached by telephone or email at the points of contact listed above. I look forward to your prompt response.

Respectfully, etc.

I'm sure it won't accomplish squat, but I hate just waiting.
