I sent the RFE last week to VSC .They signed for it ar 1145 am last friday.

And they sent [CHRIS] an email 9/9/ saying the case is resumming..

Happy for all whom have gotten there NO2'S

And pray for the rest of you .. Alittle more for Richard , Your turn is near..

Good morning everyone March Family!

I was wondering how long does a RFE processing at VSC takes... I read somewhere it is about 2 business weeks... anyone knows? (though probably this is a futile question...if we take into consideration how "logic" this process has been lol  Well, my timeline is updated all right and tomorrow my love is going to call the USCIS... see if we are lucky...

How are you feeling Richard?

Love you all,

KataandFreddy

It has now been 16 days since VSC received my response to my RFE and resumed action on my file.....I call every day and all they will tell me is to allow up to 60 days for them to finish.

OMG Missy really... }:

That's what they say. But...

Based on timeline data, your I129f may be adjudicated between August 22, 2009 and September 8, 2009* (RFEs at the Vermont Service Center typically add an extra 15 days, which has been added to the estimated processing time).

This is what is written on my VJ timeline....so I don't really know what to expect. I just know that it's on some adjudicator's desk waiting.....

Missy whom are you calling?

You have number please

1-800-375-5283

Press 1 for English (unless you want spanish), then press 2 for the "latest information" on your case. After you input your EAC # it will tell you exactly what you can read for yourself on the website. You have to listen to all of that, then you have to listen to the BS about changing your address and THEN you need to pay attention to what he says. I think at the end of all of that you have to press 3 to report a problem with your case. After you report a problem then you have to listen to the recording that tells you if your case has been updated within the last 60 days then you must wait another 60 days until you can call....don't pay any attention to that. At the end of that message push 1 and that takes you to a person. Once you get THAT person, ask to have your call escalated. They will ask a bunch of questions and try to talk you out of it but be persistent. Once you reach tier 2 support then you can ask questions.....

It is the MOST frustrating experience ever and I don't recommend it. I know my file is on an adjudicators desk because of my congressman. It's called the misinformation hotline for a reason - no one has ever given me the same answer twice - and I have called a zillion times. I need a 12 step meeting about it now....I can't stop.

Don't do it unless you want to be frustrated. Call your congressman instead and let them help you get information.

Well, my congressman's immigration caseworker just called. She talked to NVC, and they gave her the standard "could be 2 to 3 weeks" line.

I'll just keep calling twice a day so I know as soon as it goes out the door—and in the meantime, they can be as sick of me as I am of them and their retarded process.

Improved USCIS Form G-325A (Biographic Information)

Form field input font changed to allow entry of dates in the specified format and to provide more space for addresses and employment history. This is the 6/12/09 version of the form; the current version is 8/8/11, but previous versions are accepted per the USCIS forms page.

That's how I feel about calling everyone I call, every day....if they would just help me get it done, I could stop calling. Vermont doesn't care, but poor old Sally - my congressional liason - she should be pretty darn motivated to "git r dun!"

We have talked to the embassy in Brazzaville and now, inspite of all of my previous fears, that part seems like it will be the easiest. I just hope we don't get stuck at NVC too.....

I am going to say that I believe that what you are going through is probably more frustrating than my waiting....you really are SO close to the end. Good luck today!

I know the feeling—every day I have to tell Elisha that NVC still hasn't sent the file to Seoul

I called NVC yesterday and they said they recieved everything on 9/4 but its in AP. I don't plan to call very often, maybe once a week or less. They also said they would email me if there were any changes. I didn't know they did that. But i guess i am an involentary member of the AP club for now. :hehe:

It's a different person each time, so not sure how anyone can get sick of you. I'm down to twice a week calls now.....Tuesday/Friday. Even if approved in between, I know it will take a few more days to get there before I can set an interview date. Guess they've worn me down some.
