i had to call my congressman and tell him to not take any action because we are approved, but now its time for soesedout, missmissy and sir richard to push those march numbers up to 90% or more and finish this month up so we can all celebrate as one family. I'm praying for all the low hanging fruits. ps. I'm not the one who called you all fruits lol

hmmmmm congratulations !!!!! Philippines again hmmmmmmmmm????

What is the deal with you thinking Philipines get special treatment? They waited 160 days.....late May filers are getting approved at this point. I just don't understand your reasoning....

Mari joe.......CONGRATS! and about time!

If I may comment... I think is just a perception thing... because there are a lot of people from the Phillipines applying... same as UK, I think those two along with China and India are where most cases come from... but I dont think there is any special treatment... is just because the % makes it look as if they are getting approved faster....that's my humble opinion.

I have not spread the numbers, but yes, on the surface it does seem like the Philippines out-weigh most other countries... but I would agree that it is a perception thing as well...

So a little off topic here... Florida is great and all, but I saw my first snake yesterday outside the window. It wouldn't be too bad if I didn't have a ridiculous phobia. I can't look at pictures or even see them on TV so to actually see a real one slither in the bushes outside the window was NOT GOOD. I couldn't get a hold of Brian right away, so I called my Mom and she had to get me through my panic attack. I've stopped pacing around the condo.

God help me! I'm moving to a beautfiul, warm, sunny State ---- but snakes!? Eeeks!!!!!!!!! The things we do for love!

Anyone have any good ideas as to how to get over this phobia? And no - I am not willing to face it dead on! Brian suggested we go to Sea World to see the reptiles but I boshed that idea before he even finished his sentence.

Yeah I'm not a snake lover either and like you....in Florida. Cat dragged one on the back porch the other day and I was standing RIGHT beside it and didn't notice it till I walked in the house and my daughter said "Look Mom...Smoky caught a snake" I was not impressed. Good thing I was already in the door or I might have jumped through the window and it was just a baby. I don't think I'll ever get over my phobia which also includes spiders and ...OMG...have you seen a cockroach yet?? They are HUGE! Even the friggin grasshoppers here are on steriods. Yet the mosquito's are itty bitty....go figure.

Richard, I don't care what they are....I woke my Richard up the other night when I seen this HUGE thing on the wall in the bathroom. Freaked me out! I told him he's better not complain...it was part of the deal of me moving here. All bugs must be removed from the premises, preferably dead, no matter what time of day or night! lol

and Palmetto bug is just another name for American cockroach....gotta love google :P

Not around my house! lol. In my 26 years of life, I've never seen one in Canada. I lived in Florida back in 04-05 and saw one that whole year.

I was just happy living in my bubble for the last couple of years. I knew they were here, but now that I've seen one so close to the condo, it's going to take some courage to get me comfortable outside. All the curtains are drawn cause I don't want to see outside....lol.
