We always drove to Buffalo and left from there to fly to Florida as well. Way cheaper! It was about a 3 hour drive but we'd leave the day before and stay at a hotel that had park n fly and it was still cheaper. Especially if you were going for a week or more cause the hotel with park n fly was cheaper then leaving your vehicle in Toronto for a week.

They do that to sucker people in going to Buffalo. I spent a year in Buffalo one weekend.

Stan... you are on a roll today.. and in a good mood!!! good for you!

Trying to stay positive. Amy goes to start her culture on Weds, Thurs, and Friday this week. It's going to be a long 8 weeks. If anything comes back positive, she has to go through 6 months of meds and then ANOTHER 8 weeks of culture - after this 8 weeks.

So I'm keeping my mind off that and focusing on getting the rest of the March filers approved. Pom-poms out, miniskirt on (I need to take it easy on the ice cream), sprinklers full blast, and I'm looking for my eye of newt.

Keeping my fingers crosed (and anything else I can cross) for ya'll.

03/26/09 : NOA1

11/13/09 : APPROVED and visa in hand!!!

Do you recommend parking anywhere? He is planning on parking at the airport. I looked on line and they have a lot (Long Term B) that is only $8 a day max of $40 a week. In Orlando we have parking places that are just down the road from the airport and take you there in a shuttle. They are cheaper than the airport, although $8 a day is a pretty darn good price.

8$ a day/40$ a week is a pretty good deal from Atlanta's point of view.. I think I pay 11$/77$ a week here

Aye. The Orlando Airport is $17 a day! Yikes! I made the mistake of parking there before- for some reason I thought it was $10 a day. Ouch!

On a side note- two of my sisters live in suburbs of Atlanta- Lilburn and Mableton. :)

8 bucks is a good deal for sure. I usually pay about a $100 but that is for a night in hotel plus shuttle and parking for 2 weeks. He's only going for the weekend so $16 bucks is fabulous. I flew out from Toronto and left my vehicle at the park n fly once.....good lord I got royally screwed on that deal! lol never again ;)

I'm PISSED that they had to wait this long.....its revolting how USCIS can do this to people. Look at Chris and Mara as well....a year now...even took them to friggin court and STILL are waiting....they lost their case not once but TWICE!! How is that even possible?? Sheesh
