Even if I do get mine first you'll be done before me! lol... Montreal is SO SLOOOOOOOOOOOOOW! I was hoping they'd pick up the pace but for the last year its been 3-4 months for an interview. Sheesh...pretty nuts but what can you do.

It is very nuts... I guess Canada is a 3rd world country :)

think POSITIVE! I'm getting mine this week....I've already decided. You and Missy need to get yours first though so I don't feel bad! So hurry the hell up! lol

You NEED to go ahead and get yours so you can get started with the rest of it. We all know how long it takes up there!

ugh....we just called because we changed our address weeks ago by mail which is what the immigration officer told us to do. They hadn't even updated our address yet. Nor have we been able to see our status online. They also said that it hasn't even been assigned to anybody yet. She did say she'd send a request to the helpdesk to get us into the online system....we'll see.

Well when I checked the prices it was $147 roundtrip including taxes and everything. How could I resist?

We used to have him fly AirCanada out of Toronto, but we found out Buffalo, NY is MUCH cheaper. AirTran nonstop flight! He lives about 70 miles from Buffalo. :)

We always drove to Buffalo and left from there to fly to Florida as well. Way cheaper! It was about a 3 hour drive but we'd leave the day before and stay at a hotel that had park n fly and it was still cheaper. Especially if you were going for a week or more cause the hotel with park n fly was cheaper then leaving your vehicle in Toronto for a week.

They do that to sucker people in going to Buffalo. I spent a year in Buffalo one weekend.

I never would have believed my journey to happiness would begin with something called an "I-129F"

Trying to stay positive. Amy goes to start her culture on Weds, Thurs, and Friday this week. It's going to be a long 8 weeks. If anything comes back positive, she has to go through 6 months of meds and then ANOTHER 8 weeks of culture - after this 8 weeks.

So I'm keeping my mind off that and focusing on getting the rest of the March filers approved. Pom-poms out, miniskirt on (I need to take it easy on the ice cream), sprinklers full blast, and I'm looking for my eye of newt.
