I just realized how many spelling mistakes I had in that. I think because I feel so strongly you must meet before you marry. And I don't think i'm alone here. Sorry, but I think that is a really big deal. plus, why WOULDN'T you want to meet her right now, even if it is only on a tourist visa. Waiting for a visa approval at this point is another 6 months, can you really wait another 6 months before meeting (or touching!) your soul mate?

hello! stan, i just want to ask if you did the paper works by yourself or you paid an agency or a lawyer to do it for you??? is it true that its faster if you hire a lawyer or agency to do the paper works? we just did our papers on our own and could'nt help to feel depress at times coz we still did'nt have NOA2...

Hello MayandTim. We did our paperwork ourselves. I haven't read anywhere that having someone else prepare them will get anything done faster. In fact, if you have to send paperwork to the preparer and then they turn around and submit them, it can take longer. Not to mention the more mail involved, the easier to get things lost.

The only exception is if there have been problems with a visa or something else involving USCIS in the past. Then an immigration lawyer may be appropriate.

I'm really getting irritated that they're working so far into April and still have so many of our March family left behind. I realize anything I say will be of little consequence to you all - but you're in our thoughts and prayers. I believe the exchange between Missy and Richard is correct - it's totally the luck of the draw and depends on who gets your box. I also agree with another post by Richard that it sounds like they are approving April heavily in order to skew the overall approval timeframe and to make themselves appear as though they are taking less time than they actually are.

thanks amystan, its just today my fiancee receive an email from the uscis letting her know that they are requestion for initial evidence. but i still did'nt get any letter on the mail, maybe i would get it this week hopefully but getting nervous on what kind of evidence we might miss when all i remember i already give them everything. have any clues????

It might be as simple as not checking a box or missing an answer to a question. There is no way of knowing until you receive the hard copy in the mail. I think it took Missy 4 days for them to actually send the letter (4 days from when they said they sent it) and then another few days for the mail to reach her. So just a little more patience... but after a week or so, personally, I would call them

Good luck

:ranting: April!

Improved USCIS Form G-325A (Biographic Information)

Form field input font changed to allow entry of dates in the specified format and to provide more space for addresses and employment history. This is the 6/12/09 version of the form; the current version is 8/8/11, but previous versions are accepted per the USCIS forms page.

Richard is correct. The email said that they mailed it on the 14th but it was post marked for the 17th (Monday) and I received it on Thursday. The good news is I FedExed it back to them on Friday and Sunday they had updated me with another email saying it was received and work on my application has resumed. I knew what had been left out so I had it all ready to go.

03/26/09 : NOA1

09/23/09 : NOA2

11/13/09 : APPROVED and visa in hand!!!

Ohhhhhhh, Arabella?? Were you able to get in touch with your SO? Details, girl... I need details!

For the moment I have to live vicariously through others :)

No I wasn't. I got a text from him at 10:26pm that said, "Well we've stopped for the night in Marquette. Have a good sleep love."

That's it! Nothing in response to my text and voice message about the NOA2!

Marquette is in Wisconsin. So maybe once he is in Winnipeg he will check my message. :(

was the text "We're APPROVED"? or just a 'call me' kind of thing? surely it was the latter?

Richard, did you guys not receive your noa 2 yet? It must be hella frustrating.

As for our progress, its moving really fast :), I'm happy

yestarday , the 24th, the consulate sent out the app to my fiancee

were both happy :) its getting warmer.

So on the next step, does anyone know if we just file the ds-230? and send it back immediately? then do the medical, police record, ect?

For Warsaw.. and I am pretty sure for others... you have to have the medical and police report and everything ready BEFORE you send back part 1 of the DS-230...

Still waiting on the almighty NOA2... and yes, it is frustrating, but we'll live :)

I am glad it is going faster now for you... soon it will all be over!!! :)

Hello

All my march people.I wanted to up date you on my RFE.I got it yesterday in the mail.

What they want from me was a certified copy of Divorce. They said the [NISI] was not good enough }:

So it was from 1993 .. I contacted the County office there in Mass. And they told me they knew exactly what I needed for the USCIS. So I sent them 20.00 and they will send it to me as soon they get payment. That was the only thing they needed ,, I hope to push it back to VSC .. Monday I hope..

So I lost a littel time but we over nite it to them as soon as I can..

Hope you all that are still waiting they get it in high gear..

Carl
