good luck with that :) I cant :P

Yeah, I'm just surprised to keep seeing April when there is so much left of March...and it's not like it's the beginning of April either...but all over. What's up?

I still check often, can't stop, but it's not really healthy haha!

My theory:

There is a worker, let's call him Worker Bee, who cranks out NOA2s. Worker Bee is plowing through April files and is making his way to May.

Everyone else is a slug. I am sitting in the in-box of a slug . . .

We are both in the "slug box" and he currently has someone shaking salt on him...slowly killing him until our case is stuck on a desk of a gooey mess. :jest: :jest:

That makes 3 of us or actually 73 of us!!!!

Grrrrr

I am disapointed in myself. I had made it through almost 5 months without anxiety and coming down to the wire that is not the case. I was actually angry today and I don't get angry.

Don't be too hard on yourself. I used to just check in the morning to see what the current processing date was for VSC. That was it.

Now that my date's passed, I am quickly going bonkers.

I had kept myself away from even monitoring the Visa process for nearly four months, then became increasingly more active as the date in my mind became 'closer'. Maybe I should have stayed away a bit longer hah! Seem to be growing more insane by the day

Can't leave now, too many good people here :star:

Yes, one of the saving graces with all of this is the fine people that have blessed us along this journey.

This process has gotten to me in such negative way. I submitted my i-129f on March 8, 2009. I got my NO1A on march 11. I have never been touched.

Hey at least you fit in with the rest of us ;)

You've got me beat by a day :help:

Take a seat, share some stories, toss the marsh-mellows around!

It does make it easier to know that I"m not alone. It is depressing to know that people after me are getting approved. USCIS website states that they work based on FIFO, I highly doubt it.

I do have a question. I currently hold a "SECRET" clearance cuz I work for government contractor. Do you guys think this can factor into how long they do the background check ?

I also forgot to check the box "NO" to the question "Have you ever been convicted by a court of law (civil or criminal) or court martialed by a military tribunal for any of the following crimes?" Do you think i'll simply get a RFE or they'll just deny me completely?

Thanks All!

If I remember correctly...those that have clearances may take "slightly" longer, but it's nothing excessive from what I've seen.

Not sure how to advise you on the second question. I suppose it depends on what the 'crime' was for. Do you have something that would show up in a background check (or on a government SF-86 form).

I think most of us are "clean" and good to go, we're just stumped as to why the slowdown of march and the april foot-race.

Hoping we all hear something soon...though I keep saying that, heh.

I've read elsewhere that the process can be slower for people who hold active clearances. But I wouldn't start speculating about that yet—lots of us March filers without touches, let alone NOA2s.

As for the box you forgot to check, you might get RFE'd for it, but perhaps they'll let it slide if your background check comes up clean. Here's hoping!

Improved USCIS Form G-325A (Biographic Information)

Form field input font changed to allow entry of dates in the specified format and to provide more space for addresses and employment history. This is the 6/12/09 version of the form; the current version is 8/8/11, but previous versions are accepted per the USCIS forms page.

I have no record. I just simply forgot to check the box. I checked the PDF i-129f saved on my computer. I noticed that I forgot to check the box. Thanks!
