I just wanted to give a quick update... We received our approval on Friday and NVC has already received our file....

I thought VSC would just sit on it another week... Here's hoping it get through NVC in a timely manner....

Congrats and to all those whose received their NOA2 and to those still waiting...good luck and hopefully this week they will clear off all the March filers If not .... I'm sure we can bribe some people to picket outside their building until its done....

And Missy... the post office???? They are in most cases worst then the visa people when answering questions.... LOL .... I'm happy your senator mailed it and you will get your hard copy in the mail tomorrow....

Well, I was just looking at the "All Petitions" view for VSC... it looks like (perhaps) whoever took the 3/26 stack is just about finished with it. Nothing against the 3/25ers, but I'm hoping 3/27 is next in his or her stack!

Whatever! We need to finish up the 12th! The 10th was just finished, so come on 12th!

Hah just joking. I hope we all get through this quickly

Congrats Dezaman, saw your update earlier and was glad to see them finish it up so you can move on to the next step

I haven't called anyone at all related to the Visa, though with so many thinking of it (or actually calling already) perhaps I should look into it. I'll let this week roll around and if I don't hear anything I'll give it a shot. I wasn't sure I could even affect their decision processes, but it would be nice to find out some additional information if possible

Yep, you have until midnight and the number is 603-334-0700... hit option 5 to talk to a person because the first time I called I went throught the automated responses and of course it said they had not received but something told me to call again and when I did I opted to talk to a person and I was happy I did.....

and im hoping the NOA2 doesnt expire first........how does that work?? should i get an interview appointment then call and reschedule if he hasnt received the paper from the court yet??? what should i do??

ok, dgard, you are right but if anyone knows ,,is it going to be a mess him coming here now since it already left NVC?? and also what do you do if you have an interview with the embassy and want to reschedule?? will they extend the NOA2 if the interview is past the 4 month period??

I would think you would have a bit of time. You still have Packet 3 to send back and forth. How long are you thinking it will take to receive that custody paper? I wouldn't worry about it yet, things seem to be moving quickly as far as document sending, etc. I have heard of people rescheduling interviews though, so it is possible if necessary.
