WE JUST GOT APPROVED!!!! I STILL CAN'T BELIEVE IT, I KEEP READING IT OVER AND OVER AGAIN AND YESSS WE REALLY DID GET APPROVED!!! :dance:

Application Type: I129F, PETITION FOR FIANCE(E)

Current Status: Approval notice sent.

On August 13, 2009, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I129F PETITION FOR FIANCE(E). Please follow any instructions on the notice. If you move before you receive the notice, call customer service.

Congratulations!!!! All this good news...makes me feel gooood for April!!! I wish all those that have gotten their approvals a very very fast reunion with their loved ones! God is Great! :D

Consulate Received : 9/11/09

Packet: Never received. The consulate was nice enough to send us a letter via email, along with a list of approved doctors and translators. My fiance can easily pick up the forms required when he goes for his medical and translations.

*Update 11/26/09* Medical complete! Picking up the packet was smooth and easy! One week until our interview!! Can't wait!!

Interview Date: 12/03/09

Call from embassy to go pick up his passport with visa!: 12/11/09

Visa in Hand!

POE: Charlotte

Date of Arrival: 12/26/09

Date of Marriage: 02/21/10

AOS package sent: 3/22/2010 via FEDEX

Biometrics letter received: 04/08/2010

Received letter that AOS was transferred to California! 4/19/2010

Biometrics appointment: 4/30/2010

Green Card approved: 5/25/2010

from 13 March to 13 August.

This is just the beginning of another step in the process. How long does it take from today to the interview?

Good going and congratulations! I was beginning to think VSC fell asleep again, nice to see some approvals today.

Congrats! same NOA1 day as us, but nothing on our end yet. Its making me nervous that his unemployment is going to have a negative affect on us...... :(

Congrats on all of the NOA2 Approvals! I was thinking this was going to be a day without any too from how it was looking! So glad I was wrong, and so glad to see approvals in another "burst". The next steps will be here and gone before you know it. You'll all be with you SO soon :dance: :dance:

To Linda and Thom - I am going to go out on a limb here and say this - I read the replies in the thread you started, asking for advice on this subject, last week. I think that you need to go ahead and refile your application and submit whatever is missing. I think that if you appeal or ask that it be reconsidered or whatever you will lose some valuable time. I am just looking at what I consider to be the fastest and cheapest way to "git r dun" and in my opinion, that's just refile and start over. Whatever you decide, we'll all be here cheering you on!!

CONGRATULATIONS TO EVERYONE ELSE THAT WAS APPROVED!!!WE ARE SOO HAPPY.

NEXT FRIDAY (8/21) I WILL BE GOING TO EL SALVADOR AND SPEND 2 WEEKS WITH MY FIANCE. I CAN'T BELIEVE AFTER 5 MONTHS THIS IS REALLY HAPPENING... :dance:
