My heart is still pounding from seeing that email in his inbox!!!! I was afraid to open it at first.

Love is patient and kind;

it is not jealous or conceited or proud;

love is not ill-mannered or selfish or irritable;

love does not keep a record of wrongs;

love is not happy with evil, but is happy with the truth.

Love never gives up; and its faith, hope, and patience never fail.

Love is eternal.

I got a touch this morning - touch me in the morning.................

Last few touches reported here ended up with less than great results. Here's hoping my "whatchamacallit" (don't remember either, Missy) is in the works.

Stan... they I read the data when you look at "all" filers... they are in smaller groupings... it is almost like the box is taken off the shelf of 20 or so files... YOU my friend could very well be in the later grouping... so I am thinking TODAY is your day!!! :)

PS turn on the sprinklers!

Wow, wow, wow!! I don't care what anyone says - I think that just having someone there look at things is great!! I check the USCIS site all of the time and mine still says that the last time anyone looked at it was 03/26/09. That is so exciting!! I told you it would be here for you soon!!!!

But let me ask this Stan - once you get the thingy....you know what I'm talking about......how long before Amy is here? Are you expecting that part to move quickly or what? I read some of the posts in the Phils part but it's difficult to understand all of the stuff they have to go through there, TB tests, some kind of classes on how to immigrate???? What's the story for all of that? Do you know? (of course you do!!!)

There's a higher incidence of TB in the Philippines so they don't play around. The least suggestion of a haziness of CXR will prompt a sputum culture, and that takes 2 months (8 weeks). Almost all return negative, but I understand the need. It's fairly easy to treat once diagnosed. But the 8 weeks isn't something we'll want to endure if possible.

She'll go get her medical as soon as we have something in paper for the NOA2. She won't need the embassy paperwork to start the medical. So we want to get the medical started as soon as possible, just in case we have to wait the 8 weeks.

After that, it should be fairly painless. She will have to go to a seminar. It's designed to warn Filipinas about what life can really be like in the US so they aren't caught unaware and also so they're forewarned that there are indeed some men who marry foreigners, only to bring them to the states for almost a slave-labor thing. So I'm keeping the shackles hidden until after she's been here a few weeks. :innocent:

If all goes well, she could be here in maybe 6-8 weeks after the NOA2, as long as the medical goes smoothly.

Richard - the sprinklers are on full blast. :thumbs:
