Yes, look at the date they were updated, maybe they were'nt approved on that day but they are new approvals

i think there are 4 for today http://cse.ssl.berkeley.edu/igor/vjdata/vsc.aspx

so far. and most of the approvals from days gone by have been after everyone got home to check mail/e-mail then

had time to upload status and system to update within a 4 hour time frame. i havent seen the list update less than

every three hours.

no idea! was hoping a few would get approved today with the same date as mine, but no luck so far. Not too much longer I don't think though. You could get yours before I get mine the way they are approving these days ;)

I'm glad they're getting approved though! Just don't understand the approval process at all, def not in order lol! It's hard to make plans 'around' the NOA2 though. Seems like anyone from march could get an approval anyday now

I don't mind if people ahead of me get approved, as long as I'm not the only one to get left behind :D

Doesn't seem like anyone got approved "today" that has updated their timeline yet. But yeah, a few did update from previous days, that's nice! Glad to see the lists moving around some. Maybe we'll hear something this weekend. Then there's always next week, I hate that saying though lol! :jest:

so which site can we get the DS-156 AND the DS-156K? are those the only docs to send in for packet 3? we havent received the letter from the embassy though, ill prolly try calling them on monday as i looked up on DHL and they just received the package yesterday;

Sorry for all the unnecessary confusion.

First of all, the current versions of all visa forms can be obtained from the Department of State website at http://travel.state.gov/visa/frvi/forms/forms_1342.html

From there, you must follow the link to http://evisaforms.state.gov to fill out the DS-156. You must fill out the form on the web page—when you click Continue, the web application will generate a prefilled PDF version of the form including a unique bar code containing all the information on the form. You can then print and/or save the PDF generated by the web application.

The other forms (DS-156K and DS-230) can be downloaded and filled out on your own computer. The problem with the Department of State versions, as you discovered, is that they don't allow you to save the entries. I downloaded each of these forms and enabled saving. These forms—current versions, exactly the same as the DoS site except that saving is enabled—are available at the following URLs:

DS-156K:

DS-230:

Different consulates have different requirements for Packet 3, so you'll need to check the individual consulate's website for the correct and up-to-date information that applies to you.

thanks a lot ! :) hopefully i wont get confused again later on with other stuff lol and yes, you do seem like you know all about this stuff :)

btw, i dont know if ive already asked this but are these forms to be sent in, or more like are there any documents to be sent in during the packet 3 or will i just wait for the interview for these documents to be shown to them?

im sorry but honestly i get confused about packets3 and 4, if i need to send anything to the embassy or somewhat coz i keep reading off from people's timelines about them receiving and sending the packet 3. so i i just want to prepare the possible documents i may need to send in as to avoid any more delays :)
