We have just started the process this month also. Sent our petition in on March 2...package received March 6. Our visa journey has begun. We hope and pray for a speedy process for all the March 2009 filers.

Hi All

Just started this process this month too! My man sent the petition on 7th March 09 and they received it on 9th March 09--- now waiting NOA 1..............

Missing him like crazy and feeling like my life just revolves around my visa application and speaking to him on the phone because I can not wait to be with him, him being so far away is so hard in many many ways.

I would love to chat on-line anyone in UK out there who are in the same position as me...no-one seems to understand!

Feb. 16/2010 -transferred this case I485 to our CALIFORNIA SERVICE CENTER
Feb. 24/2010 -BIOMETRICS APPOINTMENT NOTICE RECEIVED.
March 23/2010 -approved 131
March 24/2010 BIOMETRICS SCHEDULE 1:00PM
March 24, 2010 I-765 EAD - approved!
March 29/2010 EAD received!
April 29/2010 USCIS updated change of address from TX TO MS
July 7,2010 MY FIRST ULTRASOUND -->> WE ARE HAVING A BABY GIRL!!!!

The I485 APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE was transferred and is now being processed at a USCIS office. You will be notified by mail when a decision is made.
JULY 27,2010 AOS APPROVED
AUG.12/2010 CHANGE ADDRESS THRU FON AND FILED AR-11
AUG.16/2010 RECEIVED LETTER FROM USCIS THEY ACKNOWLEDGE THE CHANGE OF ADDRESS.
AUG.17/2010 - GREENCARD AT LAST!
Nov.18,2010 - Bouncing baby girl named ARIELLE FINES CAMPBELL!
April 2012 - Lifting of condition (1-751)
May 2012 - Due- welcoming our 2ND Baby and it's a Boy!

I'm not in the UK, but my fiance is. :(

And yeah, it does seem like everything revolves around the application. I've never though time could pass so slow in my life. It's awful. :(

It seems like March is a slow month for filers, if I interpret Igor's list correctly. So far this month there have been only 16 filers as compared to the average for the past six months of 90. (09/08=127, 10/08=128, 11/08=79, 12/08=72, 01/09=74 and 02/09=60) Perhaps this will lighten the burden on the staff and speed things up for people going forward somewhat?

Admittedly, the month is not quite 1/2 over yet, so things could pick up.
