Timeline: 13 month long journey from filing to visa in hand

If you were lucky and got an approval and reunion with your loved one rather quickly; Please refrain from telling people who waited 6+ months just to get out of a service center to "chill out" or to "stop whining" It's insensitive,and unecessary. Once you walk a mile in their shoes you will understand and be heard.

My k3 was approved today MARCH9th, you guys!! wow, can't believe it!! yeaaaaaaaaaaaaah!!!! MARCHMADNESS!!! yeah!! ;)

NOW GET OFF YOUR BUTT, CELEBRATE AND GET BUSY AGAIN WITH THE REST OF YOUR DOCUMENTS...GOODLUCK W UR JOURNEY! I HIGHLY SUGGEST TO GO WITH THE CR1/IR1 ROUTES AS ITS ONLY FEW WEEKS DIFFERENT. BY THE TIME YOU MAKE YOUR APPOINTMENT FOR YOUR K3 INTERVIEW (2-3 MONTHS DOWN THE ROAD), YOU WILL BE DONE WITH YOUR CR1/IR1 PROCESS. ONCE AGAIN ONLY A SUGGESTION. CR1/IR1 PROCESS CAN BE DONE AS SHORT AS 20 DAYS AND NVC DOES YOUR INTERVIEW APPOINTMENT INSTEAD OF WAITING FOR THE CONSULATE TO HAVE SLOT TO MAKE INTERVIEW FOR YOU.
