you can if you choose follow to join for the children. if expenses are a concern, in the long run it will be more expensive to follow join than apply at the same time as their mom. if follow to join, there will be the additional expensives of having a guardian ( travel, lodging ,etc....) take the children to the medical and interview. you or your wife would need to fly back to the Philippines to pick up the children to bring them to the USA ( airfare, etc..) when it comes time to AOS, it's more expensive when not filing with their mom. ( $330 additional each child.)

IMHO it's better to bite the bullet, like I did, and have the children go through the process at the same their mom. I have no regets having done so...

best of luck with whatever you decide.

Anyone receiving a visa must have the medical (and pay the fee) and pay the visa application fee. When they arrive, the fee for AOS is $1010 for your fiancee and $600 EACH for a child under age 14 IF they file the AOS at the same time as your fiancee, if they are over 14 or you file at a different time, the fee is $1010 each. You are only making the down payment on the "serious money"
