Anyone from VSC got a NVC case # assinged after NOA2 since Feb 21 2009 ?

Hey everyone,

I was wondering if, for those who got NOA2 after Feb 21, 2009 got a NVC case # assigned to them? Just wondering if we're experiencing a slow-down in the process due to sudden fast approvals or I am just impatient ;)

Just impatient. Feb 21 is just over 2 weeks ago.

In CR-1 IR-1 cases it can take a bit longer than that.

But yes some show NVC Receive from around that date, don't know if a case number has been assigned.

Thanks YuAndDan. I figured it was just me being impatient. I've been just noticing people's timeline/signature and lot of them got the case # assigned within a week so I was just curious how many ppl got it in last 20 days. Do you have any estimates on the timing? They said 4 to 6 weeks or within 90 days....thats so long...

Hi, I had my NOA2 on Feb 23rd and I got my NVC number on March 5th.

They said today they are generating my DS-3032 and AOS Bill.

I think you will get yours today too! :D

Thanks gixbr. Your timeline is helping me estimate now, I should get mine next Monday based on my approval date :) One of the other VJ member was approved on 20th and didn't get case # assigned and so I was getting bit nervous. Your update gives me hope :)

I did call them this morning around 11am EST and talked to an operator. She gave me the standard 'we usually get it in 2 to 4 weeks but it could take upto 90 days" answer :(

Mine was approved on 2/17 I got case number 3/5. Operators keep telling me 6-8 weeks for the mailing of the invoices etc. not sure how often I will bug them
