My husband will be going to do his interview at the embassy in Fiji on April 1st, 2009.

At that time we know he will be denied for one criminal act and an overstay.

He will have the paperwork to file his I-212 waiver and I-601 waiver at that time.

It has been prepared by an attorney as well as a letter from me showing hardship (with apprx. 2 inches of medical back up paperwork).

Can anyone here tell me their experience with the Fijian embassy?

I have not been able to find out if there is a CIS office there (I believe the adjudication of the waivers will be done in Manila but possibly at the Fijian embassy...?).

I am at a loss and can't find the info anywhere.

I am in a complete panic! UGH!

You are right that it will be adjudicated by Manila. Click the link to see the backup information from the USCIS website.

If he was not deported, he actually doesn't need the I-212. . .that is only if there was a deportation order or expedited removal.

The best site on the web for waiver information is www.i2us.net You will find others going through Manila as well as timelines with more information.
