Card production ordered... but the touches continue

Hi all,

I received the card production ordered email on Friday. Then on Sunday I received the same email again, saying card production ordered. Went online to double check and the online status says the same.

I never received an approval email. Then I logged in today and the case was touched yesterday. Is this normal? Is the case suppose to continue to be touched ?

Also, how long has it taken for the new GC to arrive?

My case was touched several times after I received the approval notice. I was approved on the 4th and my case continued to be touched right up to the 22nd, so I suspect it is normal.

I was touched once with the "card production ordered" status and three days later the "approval notice sent" was the second touch.

My card was in the mail exactly 7 days after the card production email, along with the approval letter (but they came from two different offices)

Conditional Permanent Resident since September 20, 2006

Conditions removed February 23, 2009

Congrats on your approval I got the same e-mail on Friday and another yesterday also I guess its the norm since the card production has to be done else where i think the just retrieve the information given to them

Never did get hard copy of approval or card production. Got 2 emails of card production for different days and then the GC in the mail a week later.

K1 denied, K3/K4, CR-1/CR-2, AOS, ROC, Adoption, US citizenship and dual citizenship

!! ALL PAU!

I received two touches within a few days prior to the approval, then I received the approval email first, then the approval letter in the post a few days letter and my case was touched again today to say the approval notice was sent.

May 02, 2006: Interview (US Embassy, Dublin, Ireland). Visa approved.

June 14, 2006: Moved to Charlotte, NC.

July 21, 2006: Applied for SSN.

July 29, 2006: SSN received.

September 05, 2006: 2 year Permanent Resident card received.

April 09, 2008: Mailed I-751 to TSC.

April 15, 2008: Check cashed.

April 16, 2008: Case transferred to VSC.

April 23, 2008: Biometrics appointment letter received.

May 10, 2008: Biometrics appointment.

June 28, 2008: Moved to Clearwater, FL (Filed AR-11 and I-865).

March 04,2009: 10 year Permanent Resident card production ordered.

March 13,2009: 10 year Permanent Resident card received.

April 24, 2009: Mailed N-400 to TX Lockbox.

April 30, 2009: NOA1 Notice date.

May 11, 2009: Biometrics appointment letter received.

May 16, 2009: Biometrics complete (walk-in).

June 04, 2009: Interview letter received.

July 23, 2009: Oath. I am a US citizen!
