Hi...i just wanna know if i still need to get a police clearance in japan cuz i work there 6-5 yrs ago...how true it is that usem looking for the police clearance from japan on ur interview date???I am worried now to schedule an interview in US embassy manila cuz ive heard that they r looking for a police clearance from japan..i work there long time ago..like 6-5 yrs ago...Do i really need to get a police clearance to all the country that ive entered before???i hope someone can answer my question cuz i am really confuse now....and starting to get really worried....any response will much appreciated...thank U

the answer is yes...if you lived/worked in another country for more than 6 months you need to apply for the police clearance. I lived in Maryland, USA for 19 months and i did apply for a police clearance from the state of maryland.

so only if u work in other country for more than six month???ive been in japan 3 times..my 1st time is I work only for 5 months and 2 weeks the 2nd one is 6 months and the 3rd one is 3 months only...and i been in korea 1 yr and 9 months but my visa there is only 6 months my promoter keep extending me every 6 months....

Indeed, you have to submit police clearances for all places where you have lived for more than 6 months after turning 17 years of age.

its easy all you need to do is go to korean embassy in makati it will takes 6 weeks to process and no charge just bring 2x2 pics for the application. dunno bout the japan though!
