Getting letter from Bank for I-846 needs.

I am trying to complete the necessary requirements for form I-864 and was wondering if anyone knows what format that i should be requesting the letter from the bank.

USCIS *CR-1 Visa* Journey

Service Center : Vermont Service Center

2008-08-07 : I-130 Sent

2008-08-16 : Recieved NOA1 Hard Copy

2008-08-19 : I-129 Sent

2008-08-27 : NOA1 Approved -I-129F

2009-02-12 : RFE Email

2009-02-17 : RFE mail Rcvd

2009-02-20 : Traveled 2 India to correct the RFE issue

2009-03-02 : Mailed the corrected RFE Docs to USCIS

2009-03-04 : Received confirmation via email from USCIS that they received the RFE documents. CASE RESUMED

2009-04-02 : NOA2 Approved for I-129F and I-130 via email

2009-04-08 : NOA2 Arrives in mail for I-129F and I-130

2009-04-11 : Received letter from NVC stating I-129F case has been forwarded to EMBASSY for processing.

NVC Journey

2009-04-15 : Case Number Assigned - Received this by speaking to a live operator. NVC automated message was not updated-it said "NO CASE# Assigned"

2009-04-17 : DS-3032 sent (by e-mail)

2009-04-20 : DS-3032 and AOS bill generated

2009-04-20 : DS-3032 sent (by e-mail) again after receiving the email for DS-3032 and AOS bill generated

2009-04-20 : AOS PAID (online)

2009-04-23 : AOS package sent to NVC

2009-04-24 : DS-3032 Choice of Agent accepted - Beneficiary received email - ACCEPTED one was 4/17/2009 email

2009-04-24 : IV Fee bill generated

2009-04-24 : IV bill PAID - showed PAID ON- 04/25/2009 and printed coversheet

2009-04-25 : DS-230 sent to NVC

2009-05-07 : case complete at NVC

Embassy Journey

2009-05-13 : Forward the case to Embassy in Chennai, India

2009-06-18 : Medical

2009-06-26 : Visa Interview

2009-06-26 : Visa Approved

2009-06-29 : Visa in Hand

2009-07-02 : POE - (JFK, New York)

I don't know the specific format, but I am sure the banks have a standard format that they use.

I would think the letter should contain at a minimum: Your name, how long the account has been open, current balance or average balance.

I went to the manager in my bank and she knew what I was talking about, she said you are a sponsor right? I said yes and then she said the bank will take $10 from my account for that service and they did, I got the letter 2 weeks after it was requested.

09/08/06 - Engaged & Pregnant!

03/13/08 - I filed for Citizenship

07/22/08 - Became US Citizen

08/02/08 - I-129F sent

08/13/08 - Case received by VSC

08/16/08 - NOA1

08/18/08 - Touched

12/18/08 - Touched again exactly 4 mos. after 1st touch!

12/18/08 - Noa2 @ 3PM-Gracias Dios Mio!

12/24/08 - NVC sent pckg. 3 to Embassy

01/02/09 - Pckg 3 rcvd. by Embassy

01/09/09 - Pckg 3 from Embassy received by beneficiary

02/09/09 - Medical exam

02/16/09 - Sent back checklist and docs required by embassy.

03/13/09 - We will fly to see Daddy Gary

03/16/09 - 1 PM Interview (Pray God he gets visa)

03/16/09 - 5PM INTERVIEW PASSED WOOHOO. Thank God.

03/25/09 - Visa on hand! he went to DHL office after phone call received.

04/18/09 - My Cuchi came, (NYC)a wonderful unbelievable moment!:)

04/20/09 - We applied for marriage licence. (Township Municipal Bldg Health Dept.)

04/23/09 - Licence on hand

04/29/09 - Applied for Social Security (He was in system!)

04/30/09 - Wedding day!!! Yeeebaa

05/07/09 - SS card in mail. "valid for work only with DHS authorization"

05/13/09 - Sent AOS paperwork.

06/16/09 - Biometrics Apptmt.

06/25/09 - EAD Card in mail!

06/26/09 - Letter saying case transfered to Cali.

08/08/09 - Residence Card in Mail! Yuuupiiiiiii.

THE END FOR 2 MORE YEARS.

I don´t need patience if I have love. Ah I que Viva mi Guayaquil Carajo!

Two weeks? Really? :o How long does it take to type up 10 lines? Some of these things take forever...

Hmm we just took printouts from banks online monthly statement. I don't remember us sending those at NVC but we did take those for the interview, never had to show those though.

Hrmm, I don't know if I should take my bank statements or not, I sent 6 months worth of Pay Statements, how much more financial evidence could they possibly want. I guess I should go to my bank sometime this week, and get that letter as well :)

Do you need the balance in your bank account to use as an ASSET?

If your income exceeds 125% of the poverty line, then you do not need back letter, (Just IRS return, Employer letter, Pay-stubs).

If income is sufficient, then consider using I-864EZ, it does not use bank letters.

Not all bank gives letter. If you want then just send bank statements.

02/17/2009: I-130 NOA2: Approved in 210 days from NOA1 date

I-129F (K-3):

08/11/2008: NOA1

02/17/2009: I-129F NOA2: Approved in 190 days from NOA1 date

<not pursuing I-129F petition further but NVC forwarded case to Consulate on 02/24/2009>

NVC Journey:

02/19/2009: NVC Received/Case number assigned for I-130

02/20/2009: DS-3032 sent by e-mail and 03/04/2009: DS-3032 sent by regular mail

02/26/2009: NVC received DS-3032 Choice of Agent selection
