oct. 15,2008 -----shows PAID

oct. 16,2008 -----mailed DS230 overnight

oct. 23,2008 ---- RFE

nov. 3,2008 ----- case complete

nov. 26,2008 --- medical exam

aug. 14,2009 --- remedical finally, passed

aug. 24, 2009 -- interview , passed

aug. 29, 2009 -- visa in hand

sept. 24, 2009 -- POE LAX

Sonia...She was a mass of nerves...even I could see it, she messed her paper owrk about 4 times.....I had a 2 min interview...and she was at the window for half an hour...she strtaed crying after about 10 minutes...looked weird to me....she kept on saying please give me the Visa ( Thats all I could hear....)

I think being comopsed and confident counts.....also keeping your answers to the point and polite......also keeping atrack of her paperwork....she took 20 minutes to hanover medical report and VFS recpite...and then her AOS docs were missing...guess she was also asked to get some stuff.....

Out of curiousity, how did your FIL was allowed in the consulate? Is he an American citizen?

Yes he is....He went upto the interview window with me

Dec 22 2008 Transferred to California Service Center

I-130 Approved : 2009-01-12

NVC Received : 2009-1-16

Officially in AVR : 2009-1-17 emailed scanned DS 3032

DS 3032 generated and accepted via email/ AOS I-864 generated : 2009-1-23

Received I-864 Bill : 2009-1-26

Pay I-864 Bill : 2009-1-26 status PAID 1-28

Pay IV Bill : 2009-1-26 status PAID 1-28

Send Completed I 864 and IV Package (overnight) : 2009-2-4 (had to wait for hubby's PC and original birth certificate to arrive)

Case Completed at NVC : 2009-2-11 !!!!

NVC Left : Received email March 3rd

Medical Completed : March 12, 2009

Interview Date : April 22, 2009. 8 am. VISA APPROVED!!!

Visa in Hand : April 27th, 2008!!! Arrival May 11th! POE JFK

Processing Estimates/Stats : Your I-130 was approved in 101 days from your NOA1 date. NVC completed in 26 days! Interview was 201 days from Noa 1.

CONGRATULATIONS!

ACCORDING TO WHAT I KNOW, DELHI EMBASSY IS SO MUCH EASIER THAN MUMBAI ONE! I KNOW SO MANY THAT DEALT WITH DELHI EMBASSY AND IT WAS PIECE A CAKE! SO TO THOSE WHO HAVE AN INTERVIEW COMING UP, GOOD LUCK AND DONT B NERVOUS!

02-04-2009 : Visited my wife for 2 weeks. 02-22-2009 come back to US

02-11-2009 : Received package from NVC

02-23-2009 : AOS Paid $70 (Online)

02-23-2009 : DS-3032 sent (by email)

02-25-2009 : Payment Received from my bank (AOS)

03-04-2009 : NVC has received the Choice of Agent DS-3032 (Online)

03-04-2009 : IV Application Processing Fees $400 (Online)

03-05-2009 : Payment Received from my bank (IV APS)

03-07-2009 : DS-230, and I-864 Sent (by USPS)
