Generall though the people with good jobs are the ones who moved on work rather than marriage visa's.

To start, my visa (DCF) was approved in less than 2 months

POE was easy and I received my green card and SSN soon after

I took a short "holiday" after my arrival and started job hunting after Labor Day weekend - I was hired in a full time permanent position within 3 weeks - the pay is fair for what I am doing, I like the people I work with and I have great benefits

We spent (my first American) Thanksgiving & Christmas with my in laws and I enjoyed every moment of it.

Contrary to what I hear from a lot of people - I love my in laws as if they were my own parents. My mother in law is wonderful and we talk for hours each week.

Husband is doing really well in his grad program and will graduate this May

We drove up to Vancouver BC for our 2nd anniversary last month - my first time in Canada!

I love Seattle, the people here are so friendly and the city is awesome - so much to see and do

My sister in law is pregnant - due in 3 weeks and I will be a first time Aunt- yipeee

so yeah, life is pretty sweet :D
