NVC Scheduling Interview Date for April 2009

oh! sorry I forgot to ask... Do we need to ask for an operator or the AVR will change the message when they have the interview date?

You have to speak to live operator. AVR will not tell you anything about your interview date.

Hello all..

Does it has any impact if the embassy being closed for one day in case of scheduling an interview? US Embassy Dhaka was closed today and I did not get an interview date, while other VJ members all over the world got interview dates...

I was done by february 27th....Way b4 the cut off date....Should not I hear something by now? May be I gonna have to wait till the end of this week...

03.14.2011 -------I-751 sent overnight

03.15.2011 -------package says "Delivered"

03.30.2011 -------ASC Appointment Notice Received

04.22.2011 -------Biometrics Appointment

08.29.2011--------APPROVED! GC RECEIVED!

Hello all..

Does it has any impact if the embassy being closed for one day in case of scheduling an interview? US Embassy Dhaka was closed today and I did not get an interview date, while other VJ members all over the world got interview dates...

I was done by february 27th....Way b4 the cut off date....Should not I hear something by now? May be I gonna have to wait till the end of this week...

If your case has not assigned interview date has nothing to do with embassy being closed for day or two. NVC schedule the interview date in slot embassy provided them. I am sure you will get one soon, if not today then tomorrow for sure.

Yes, I am planning to convert my k3 interview date into cr1 for sure. I will request consulate to issue cr1 visa on k3 interview date as soon as my cr1 file reaches mumbai consulate. I dont want to e-mail and confuse them right now when my cr1 file is not there, because they might end up canceling my k3 interview date over cr1.

Got mine this morning!

April 28th @ 0830am in London. Knowing that misscharlotte got NVC completed the day after me means they seemingly draw at random, rather than go by completion date just for everyone's information.

Congrats to all!

- OUR TIMELINE -

04/25/08 - sent I-130 to Chicago lockbox

05/05/08 - received NOA1, assigned to VSC

11/07/08 - transferred to CSC

12/16/08 - NOA2 by email - I-130 approved

12/20/08 - NOA2 in mail - 240 days

12/22/08 - NVC receive package

01/05/09 - we receive AOS Bill and DS-3032

02/12/09 - medical 04th Mar 2009 - NVC Complete - 314 days

04/28/09 - interview passed - 370 days

06/20/09 - visa arrived by courier

06/21/09 - POE Dallas Fort-Worth - 398 days to gain permanent residence (CR-1)

02/22/11 - Sent I-765 to Vermont Service Center

03/03/11 - Received receipt for I-765

04/04/11 - AOS interview and biometrics in Oklahoma City - took all of 20 minutes, no sweat

Currently waiting on my 10-year Green Card - Best wishes to everyone going through their journey!

Visa picked up : 2009-04-07

From NOA1 to VISA in 99 days

Did all of u get the interview letter through email? I got the email and interview letter as an attachment .pdf .

Yes, This is new procedure per NVC operator that I spoke with last night. NVC no longer mail out appointment letter unless you dont have e-mail address then they do.
