Our Immigration Timeline:

Form I-130 sent to Chicago - 03/18/08 (Case in VSC)

NOA 1 - 03/26/08

Updates - 04/01/08; 06/16/08; 06/17/08

NOA 2 - 01/23/09

NVC received papers - 01/30/09

NVC generated DS 3032 and AOS bill - 02/02/09

DS 3032 sent by e-mail and snail mail - 02/02/09

NVC replied my e-mail confirming my choice of agent - 02/06/09

AOS bill received - 02/07/09

AOS bill and IV bill paid online - 02/07/09

AOS and IV display the PAID message - 02/11/09

AOS and DS-230 packages sent - 02/11/09

NVC received packages - 02/13/09

NVC sent RFE (mistake on DS-230) - 02/20/09

Form DS-230 re-sent (as requested) - 02/26/09

CASE COMPLETE - 03/05/09

Interview date assigned - 03/10/09

Case forwarded to the embassy - 03/11/09

Medical Examination - 04/08/09

CR1 interview - 04/09/09 - VISA APPROVED!

Visa in hand - 04/??/09

POE - 04/??/09

I don't think the AVR will have the information for you...you have to a speak to a live operator... :thumbs:

I'm guessing I'll have mine in May...but I can always hope for April! :) It's such a relief to just know all the major processing and filling out paperwork is finally over...

I don't even care when it is now - April OR May! Just give me a date so I can get on with planning my life!

Previous trend says it takes around 4-5 weeks from the date of scheduling interview date....they r busy becuz they always want to remain bz...becuz they put ppl on AP for no good reason...I am not feeling good...

Your case was definitely completed before the cut-off for applications to be scheduled in April, so you should be hearing very soon.

I just called NVC, the operator said our case is waiting to be schedule for an interview at the USEM in Bangkok, Thailand. They said I can try to call back next week to see if I will get April Interview Date or not. It just happens that USEM in my country is very busy.

Guys..Do u know how this scheduling is done by the NVC? Do they call Embassy for dates?

From what I know, NVC will schedule the interview following by the schedule of each Embassy in each country, I think they email the embassy about the available date for each case.

Hi. just a quick question? I already got my case # at NVC last march 3, 2009. How do i know if im going to pay the DS-3032 / I-864 Bill???

08.08.08 : Got married in the Philippines

09.08.08 : My hubby returned to USA =(

USCIS

12.08 : I-130 sent to USCIS

12.11.08 : NOA1

02.23.09 : NOA2 approved!!!

NVC

03.03.09 : NVC Received/assigned MNL case no.

03.17.09 : Received AOR IV/AOS FEE by email

03.23.09 : Paid AOS and IV fee ($470)

03.25.09 : NVC received payment

04.02.09 : Received instruction packet lawyer I-130

04.29.09 : NVC received DS-230, & I-864 (Case in progress)

05.08.09 : NVC case completed

06.02.09 : Medical (passed!)

06.15.09 : Interview Date (denied) =(
